Quick facts about visas to Russia:
--AVS can process visas for all applicants nationwide regardless of jurisdiction
--US citizens qualify for tourist, private & business visas with validity of up to 3 years, multiple entry
--For non-US citizens, maximum visa validity is 1yr multiple entry for business visas or a single entry tourist visa
--All Russian visas require an invitation. AVS can help provide tourist & business invitations
--Business invitation for US citizens can be issued on Russian company letterhead. Business invitations for non-US citizens must be issued through Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Russia. AVS can help with both types of invitations
--Russian visas are date specific. Visa will be valid from the date of entry listed on your invitation
--Rush processing is not guaranteed and is up to the approval of the consul

- Original signed passport- must have a minimum of 6mo of validity left and have 2-3 clear visa pages
- One passport photo 2"x 2" (must be taken within last 2-3 months)

- For tourist visas: invitation from a hotel or a travel agency in Russia. If you don't have it, we can obtain one for you. Please see prices below
- For private visas: notarized invitation form an individual in Russia. Must be on the notary's letterhead (copies accepted). For sample text please contact our office: 312-922-8860
- Copy of green card for non-US citizens
- For EU Citizens: copy of the health insurance card

- One letter of invitation from a company in Russia (must be on company letterhead and include company stamp). If you do not have invitation, we can obtain one for you. Please see prices below

- Former Russian citizens: see notice at the bottom of this page
Former Russian Citizens: if your country of birth listed in the US passport is Russia, you MUST provide proof that you left Russia before 1991 or a copy of your Naturalization Certificate issued on or before 2001. If you do not have such proof or left after 1991, you are still considered a Russian citizen, therefore, must travel on both Russian and US passports. Russian visas will not be issued.
For former citizens of Soviet Union (Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Georgia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, etc) a copy of your expired national passport is required in order to issue a visa.
*Please include our service fee and return delivery payment or a completed air bill. Incomplete payment, incomplete applications or documents and wrong application form will cause a delay in processing the above visa application.
** The service fees are non-refundable, once we receive your documents and start processing them. Embassy fees are non-refundable once your paperwork is submitted to the Embassy. Due to the high volume of applications being submitted, the processing times may be delayed by the Passport Agency and any Embassy. While such situations are beyond our control, we will do everything possible to accommodate your trip and will notify you immediately to let you know about the status of your application.
